Affiliate SaaS core: merchants, campaigns, tracked links, click-to-conversion pipelines and commission payouts on Supabase.
Overview
An affiliate management platform built around an 11-table domain schema — campaigns, affiliate links, clicks, conversions, payouts, referrals — with Supabase Edge Functions logging clicks and processing conversions into analytics summaries. The frontend is React with shadcn/ui, React Query, Zod forms and Recharts dashboards.
The challenge
Affiliate money flows through stateful pipelines: a click is not a conversion until it is attributed, and a commission is not payable until it survives a payout state machine. The data model had to be right before any screen mattered.
Our solution
Modeled the full domain first — explicit enums for click status, payout status and campaign state, row-level security on every table — then implemented tracking as Edge Functions (track-click for fast redirects, process-conversion for commission calculation and analytics rollup).
