Overview
JP Market is a fully Vietnamese-localized e-commerce platform for Japanese electronics and watches. It runs entirely on Cloudflare: Hono on Workers for the API, D1 for SQL, KV for sessions and cache, R2 for images, and Turnstile for bot protection. Orders pass a validated state machine and require acknowledgment of import-tax and warranty disclaimers before checkout.
The challenge
Build a real storefront with admin, roles, rate limiting and legal compliance at zero infrastructure cost — without the escape hatches of background processing or real-time features those runtimes do not offer.
Our solution
Designed the system explicitly around Cloudflare primitives, wrote the domain rules — order state machine, disclaimers, roles — into the data layer, and tested the state machine with property-based tests so order transitions hold for arbitrary sequences, not just the happy path.

The product spans a Flutter app (mobile, web, desktop), a Hono/TypeScript backend on Supabase, and four LLM providers behind one interface — with an internal security audit completed before store submission.
